"Motorcycle Mailbox"

This old school Harley Davidson is actually a mailbox in Bloomingdale, just outside Savannah. I rode by it three times before I realized what it was.

"I Love Fleas"

This gigantic cow actually has some history to it that I will dig into. I know that it was originally in another location at least 35 years ago. It is currently in front of Keller's Flea Market out on Rt. 17.

"Pink and Purple House"

This large pink and purple house apparently has caused a fuss among the historical society in Savannah. Located on Drayton at the end of Forsyth Park in Savannah, it has become one of the stops on the Savannah tours.

"Giant Cross in Front Yard"

The 30 foot tall cross on the left of the photo is not at a church or religious compound of any kind. This is actually a private residence. 

"What Is Your Boy Wearin'?"

This is one of the many interesting individuals that are so common to encounter while in Savannah. I still haven't figured out what he is wearing, but none the less he was hoopin' it up!

"Enormous Globe"

This enormous globe is on just off of Derenne and Abercorn in Savannah. If you are on Abercorn going towards the malls, it is on your right just after you pass Derenne. You really can't miss it.

"Snow in Savannah"

This is the first significant snowfall that I have ever seen in Savannah, accumulating about an inch when it was all said and done, but was gone by morning. This is actually in Bloomingdale, about 15 minutes to the west of Savannah.

"Hobbit's Door"

This is in Lafayette Square next to the big Catholic church on Abercorn and Harris St. in Savannah. Apparently the tree naturally grew this way and some brilliant SCAD student (I'm sure) put some door knobs on this tiny "door." It really is interesting to see as you are walking or driving by.
